My favorite website & training guide is Secrets to Dog Training as their eBooks cover everything you need to know about training your Border Collie, as well as specific issues such as Border Collie aggression, digging, chewing and other problems you will face. The second best website I found is Dog Training Zone. The information found in this book is of similar quality to Secrets to Dog Training, comprehensively covering a range of common issues you will face when training a Border Collie. Secrets to Dog Training's was found to be the easiest to follow guide, with loads of great photos & diagrams to guide you through the training steps. The service we received from Secrets to Dog Training was second to none, offering 1 on 1 advice about specific issues we had.

Runner Up:
This eBook is of a similar quality to the above, and is an extremely valuable resource for any dog owner. In it you will learn the importance of correctly training your dog, the psychological factors, how to become the 'alpha dog,' and a vast range of great training techniques.
The writer of this book has offers some great info for training your Border Collie, and has an easy to follow writing style. What is lacking however, is the use of pictures & diagrams to follow as you make your way through. Although this guide doesn't offer everything 'Secrets to Dog Training' does, it is a great resource, and I recommend it highly, especially when compared to some of the other dog training guides available online.

Third Pick:
Adam Katz is known as a bit of an authority in the Dog Training world, and I must admit he know's his stuff, and he does pack alot of good information into his articles & dog training instructions. However his writing style can sometimes become a little stale & difficult to read. I also noticed when looking for Border Collie training that he doesn't go into alot of detail and explain exactly how & why to go about solving specific issues.
In his book you will find some great thoughts on training a Border Collie, and his book is definitely worth a read, but he simply doesn't deliver the quality instruction & information found in the above two titles.

Fourth Pick:
If you are looking for a basic, straight to the point guide then you may be interested in this one. This guide is great if you just need to cover the basics, and if all goes according to plan. But if you come across any issues during your Border Collie training, then the usefulness of this guide soon wears thin. It is worth a look if you want to quickly start with the basics, but is far from being a complete dog training guide.
